Amazon Kindle: In The Reading Zone Review

Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

The modern consumer is capable of recognizing and remembering hundreds of brand names and logos, among which is Kindle. Amazon’s book and reading services are immensely popular, and the mobile Kindle app is a natural extension of this line of products.

Kindle is well-suited for reading books, magazines, newspapers, and other texts on mobile devices. The service offers thousands of free e-books and even more that are available for purchase.

In many ways, using Kindle for reading is actually superior to the experience you have with traditional hardcovers. The readers are able to navigate to any page or section with a swipe of the finger, read without using their hands, and adjust their experience in many other ways that are impossible with traditional reading.

Functionality 9/10

Design 10/10

Kindle has a nifty interface that most users easily master. The app’s home screen features a selection of popular options, and navigation is easily achieved through swipes and taps. Backgrounds and covers are presented in vivid icons, and all the items are large enough to discern.

Usability 10/10

Kindle has undergone many updates and improvements, culminating in the polished version offered today. Bugs and crashes are rare, and users who encounter them can quickly resolve the issue by referring to technical assistance.

Cross-platform use 10/10

Kindle can be downloaded for Android, iOS, Windows, and Amazon devices. It has generally minimal system requirements, making it accessible on modern devices and many older ones as well. The app relies on the Amazon service, so users can expect their books and reading data to be synchronized on multiple devices supporting the same account.

In-app purchases

Kindle offers countless in-app purchases, with most of them in the form of books, magazines, and exclusive reading content. Even free downloads require credit card information.

Conclusion

Kindle remains one of the top e-book reader apps because it has the functions and the selection of reading items most users desire. Even users who are not willing to register or pay for books can enjoy Kindle because the app lets them tune their reading experience to their satisfaction.  There may be apps that are superior in specific aspects of e-book reading, but users will be hard-pressed to find one that brings so many great features in a bundle.
