Manga University 101: How to Draw Manga Review

^_^ Now featuring Apple Pencil and 3D Touch support! ^_^

Download Manga 101 and start drawing! That’s right — you can draw right inside the app, using your finger, an Apple Pencil, or a third-party stylus. Then, share your art by texting or emailing it, or save it to the camera roll.

Manga 101 was made in Japan by the art professionals at Manga University, publisher of the worldwide bestselling “How to Draw Manga” series of books.

We created this app so you can enjoy all of our FREE drawing tutorials on your iOS devices. Now you can learn manga and anime techniques wherever you are!

The app also features a complete catalog of Manga University books (with links so you can get them on iBooks); our popular gallery of YouTube videos (including the all-new "How to Draw Manga" series featuring Mosoko Miyatsuki); and news and interviews featured on our Tokyo Campus Blog.

UPDATE: Loved this up before, love it even more now. The upgrades bring all the best stuff from the Manga U website and beyond to my iPhone 6, so I don’t have to be at my computer while I’m attempting to draw. (Attempts that are finally getting better… thank you, Manga U!!!) Review of old version below: My new fave app -- learning to draw Rei Ayanami from Evangelion right now, didn't think I could do it but I'm actually not so bad at it.

Ok, listen. Let's get real. My daughter asked for this app and I got it. She complained it only has two colors and that its laggy. Also, the app shut down when she saved it to photos. (The picture) I looked for my self and saw it was exactly that, and its bad. I recommend not getting this app to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!! Terrible app, if I could rate it zero I would. Well, there's the truth if you want it.
