WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
• “CircleBack lets you sit back as it does the real-time contact updates and management for you.” iphoneappsreviewonline.com
• “Simple, Powerful, intuitive — I didn't realize there was an app out there that could help me to get rid of duplicates and keep my contacts up to date. It shows me when clients leave a company and their new contact info. How does it know. It's a great app.” Review left on App Store
• “Very Useful Complement To Apple's Contacts App — By allowing this app access to FB, Google Contacts and Contacts on your macOS and iOS, you'd imagine chaos would ensue. This app, though, is smart enough to detect possible duplicates, point out that a Contact is incomplete, and brings order to your Contacts. No nagware or annoyware, it works behind the scenes and about once a week taps you on the shoulder and politely says, "hey, have a look at these Contacts - what can I do to make them less confusing?" That's a good app to have…” Review left on App Store
• “Great & Simple App— CircleBack is a great free app for managing your contacts effortlessly. The interface is very simple and easy to use. CircleBack searches its database for updated contact information and asks if you wish to accept or reject the changes/additions. It also gives you the option to update only specific information. Finally, CB keeps an up-to-date backup of all of your contacts in the cloud, giving users the peace of mind that their phone contacts are safe and secure no matter what happens.” Review left on App Store

I have thousands of contacts and really wanted a good tool to handle them. Good reviews gave me a lot of hope for this one, but it just wasted a ton of my time. It kind of works, but: - the scanner is just weak, takes a lot of time to hunt for the card - the contacts list is no better than your built-in one - the duplicate merge would suggest merging any contacts having the same name, so you have to double check manually every time - the data update - takes new inputs from some unknown sources, you never know how credible it is and if they are not messing up with data of another person with the same name - for some reason the web access to the contacts just does not exist - your personal card would not even have a photo Overall, feels like they had a good idea, but they stop halfway in making it good enough to support real life contacts management needs.

Alone of all the Contacts apps this remarkable address book will update changes in contact info, such as telephone number, addresses, and job data, through sophisticated web searches. These data changes are periodically presented for user inspection and approval and updating. PROBLEM ISSUES: UPDATING: If you are unsure of the update info and select that option, no changes will be made, but you also lose the new data and it does not appear to be retrievable. This new data should be stored in a buffer to allow you edit and change contact at will, and only permanently delete when you finalize contact. NOTES: Only a few hundred words are maintained from original Apple Contact Notes. CircleBack appears to truncate the full length of the Contact Notes. This is totally unacceptable and dooms this app to infrequent use, rather than being a primary go-to app.

Without fact based evidence I cannot say that I have identified the villain in the incident known as 'The blender event', where it is as though all my contacts have been put in a blender. Examples include messages from people, cenotaph are not those people. What I do know is that my iContacts have been scrambled. Being the eternal optimist In I see it as an opportunity to weed out those that faded away. Or group them, because you never know... What I do know is that all was ok before using this program. After installation and fuel use, problems developed. Col. Mustard, knife, kitchen.... , L8r. M
