Description of permissions used by the app: 
• Location Services - To provide nearby parking zones and offers. Note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Parking Tickets:
If you received a ticket, check your parking session to ensure that the license plate, zone number, space number (if applicable), and time of the transaction, corresponds with the information listed on the ticket. Follow the instructions listed on the ticket to dispute. 

In the unlikely event that you received a ticket during a valid parking session, you must contact the parking authority. Parkmobile does not own, operate, manage, or enforce the parking areas. We do not issue parking penalties and we cannot review or remove them for you. If you do not have a session active at the time you were ticketed, it is possible that you didn't confirm the transaction before starting it. It is important to wait for a confirmation message to ensure your parking has started, whether starting it in the app, on the website, or by phone.

    First time using the app, looked on the map for a place I wanted to park it stated it would be $25. Set my time 6 PM to 1 AM. Paid my $25. I was driving oversize vehicle so I knew in New York they will charge extra for that. Arrived a half an hour early to pick up my vehicle. Was charged $32 extra. The complete bill was $57. The parking attendant informed me that he would be charging $10 more for oversize vehicle, which is what I expected. What I didn’t expect was to be pay more than $25 to park as per the app. I called customer support. The support person was not at all knowledgeable or understanding my situation. It’s took her 25 minutes to finally tell me that I did not pay $25 to park but just to reserve the spot. Not at all what I thought I was going to pay. Also if she just said that to me immediately I wouldn’t be waiting around for 25 minutes. It was a freaking nightmare at 1:30am in the morning. I will never use this app again and I suggest you do the same.

    I’ve been using this app daily for 6 months to pay for my parking and I’ve only ever had one issue. Last week, there was a connectivity issue and my payment didn’t go through. The customer service team was super responsive on social media and walked me through a solution. In the case that you experience an issue with this app, just reach out to customer service. They’re incredible, responsive and very supportive. I will continue to use this app whenever I park anywhere. It makes parking (which can be stressful at my busy train station) easy and convenient. Thanks Parkmobile!

    When it works it’s a really great app. But it only works 7/10 Times. Which is really unfortunate because today was one of those other 3 times and I missed my quiz. The problem is I’ll assume my app is working as normal so I’ll get out of the car, go into my building, but as I’m walking it won’t recognize me and it won’t allow me to login. So then I’ll have to rush back outside to not get a ticket and pay the meter. I see what it is trying to accomplish and it’s a terrific idea but you guys need a better IT/logistics team.
