My son has used this sight and others like it for over a year. He's educated and well qualified. Yet he has received only a handful of interviews and no offers of employment. The frustration of having to apply without the benefit of using his likability and good presence is reducing him to hopelessness. It is not from a lack of effort. The amount of time he has devoted to filling out applications and searching job sites like this one, is far beyond what it should require to acquire employment. Canvassing only furthers his frustration as businesses direct employment inquiries to their website or related internet search engines. I see a young man full of promise losing faith in his country and it breaks my heart. Nothing is as fulfilling as landing the job you worked so hard in school to obtain. But it seems as though the heart as been torn out and the experience reduced to a band width of anonymity. It is only one man's opinion. I hope your experience proves otherwise.

I am wondering with all the trouble this app/site has , if many of these positive reviews are written by the ziprecruiter staff? 1. After reviewing, then saving, and reviewing again ... days later my zip resume is scrambled and info. also omitted. Who knows how many employers saw the scrambled zip resume? I'm certain this has sabotaged my chances with many companies looking at my zip resume. 2. The app sends me jobs from everywhere except my own city I'm looking in and that I have set up on my profile. 3. It has become a flea market of multilevel marketing AKA pyramid scheme type jobs ( you can't rationalize it, MLM is the exact same as pyramid). 4. It is also full of too many other job recruiting sites. If I want to apply to a company through zip recruiter I don't want to jump through hoops with other recruiting companies. You'll know what I mean when you wind up looking at a monster or career builder site.

I am an employer and like most use craigslist then weed them out so I thought I would see as an employee so submitted resume and applied for jobs after 2 days I was getting so many emails from other job apps that I did not subscribe to I had to pull out and unsubscribe to at least 20 I never subscribed too. What they do is sell your email to other job apps and subscribed me to every one of them and trust me it looks like people are interested but no luck. Tried again this time 2 months knowing what was coming and sure enough I was flooded with job apps I never applied too for same job so they can get your info and sell. This is how they do it and your hungry for a job and not thinking I see it all. Craigslist is faster and not flooded with other job apps
