I'm a 35 year old grad student taking an intro course in neuroscience. Within five minutes, after flipping the 3D model around and reading the descriptions, I finally made some connections about the hypothalamus that I've never been able to make after all these years staring at boring illustrations in textbooks. I got more excited about learning this stuff so I figure that's worth five stars at least. The notes are very good too and thank god written in language I can understand. So thank you for a great app.

Bought this to accompany my reading of a neuroscience text book. Navigating the brain on this app while reading the book definitely enhanced the experience, allowing me to learn the material more quickly. Definitely recommend! Would totally pay for more interactive functionality. Perhaps such things could be added a la carte (.99 to 1.99 a piece)? Maybe add diagrams of motor neurons, interneurons, and glia? Charge for quizzes and flashcards? Great app!

I'm a student learning about the nervous system for Science Olympiad, and let me tell you, this is a fantastic tool for getting to know the brain. It has information about the different parts of the brain and has options for labels. It's also pretty easy to learn how to use. The only issue is that the images are a bit low resolution, but that's not even that bad, and the pro version has better resolution. Overall, awesome learning app.
