You can study the laws by topic. All questions are sorted by topic. It also tells you the areas that each topic covers.

Road and Traffic Signs

Full Version has over 525 questions. This free version only has 40 questions.

Mock test simulates the real test format. Questions are presented randomly from all the topics.

A summary of the practice test is presented at the end of each test. It shows you the time you took, the score, which questions you answered correctly and where you were wrong, explanation for all questions.

You can also read your state's driver's handbook/manual in landscape and portrait mode.

The app records your progress as you start giving practice tests.
It shows you a beautiful bar chart so that you can track your weak areas and give more focus on them.

The slick user interface allows you to choose from possible answers.
You don't need to press too many buttons or encounter any alert messages.

This app tests drivers on valuable information, and informs them of the right choice when mistakes are made. But, coming from a Minnesota driver, I don't remember few or any of these questions being on the permit test. Also, the helpful hints section is written with the voice of an arrogant young teenager who thinks he/she is being helpful but ends up sounding like a know-it-all, for lack of a better word.

The helpful to an extent. You will have to do some of your own "studying", but the app is worth getting because it is helpful. One major down fall to the app is when taking the practice tests it some times will say I put an answer that I didn't put. I keep retaking the test but it keeps saying I put the wrong answer when I know I put the right one. I hope this gets fixed but I do really like the app.

This is app is not only useless, but impossible to get rid of! I have removed it from my phone three times, and every time I go to the app store it starts magically loading again! This happened twice before I upgraded to iOS4, and now with the new OS I think it runs in the background slowing everything down. Reporting this to all proper parties, this is bull!
