PBS KIDS Photo Factory Description

PBS KIDS Photo Factory is a fun app for all the fans of the Public Broadcasting Service’s kid shows and the characters therein. With this app, it is easy for parents to put the photos of their kids with their favorite PBS Kids characters such as Arthur, Caillou, Curious George, WordGirl, etc.

Parents can take a photo of their kids or choose a picture from their device, edit it, and add PBS KIDS Photo Factory themed frames and characters. It is as simple as that.

Pros

PBS KIDS Photo Factory has won the "Parent’s Choice Fun Stuff" award; the app is easy to use and install; the pictures created can be shared on the social media.

Cons

The app is available only in English.

Works great on iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4. It usually takes several tries to get a good picture of my child. Now I can use the photos where she's not looking forward and insert some of her favorite PBS characters so it looks like she's looking at them. TIP: you can scroll the bottom area for more images for most of the shows. One suggestion: add ability to flip characters horizontally.

The new upgrade downgraded the app in my opinion. The navigation is not as user friendly as before. My 2 yr old son was navigating the app the way it was, but not is has gotten more difficult because you removed the pictures next to the list of programs, made it where you had to click a little arrow to go back and select a new object, etc.

I love this app!! I am sad though that some of the shows on the app do not have a lot of charectors to place! Sesame Street for one only has Elmo and Grover:( please add more charectors and more frames!! Thank you !! By the way, I'm a teacher and I use PBS in my classroom!!
