SAT Vocab by MindSnacks Description

SAT Vocab by MindSnacks is designed to help your young ones pass their SAT with flying colors in a way which does not pressure them. This app covers the vocabulary section of the tests and includes nine games which can be played to increase the knowledge in areas such as synonyms and antonyms in addition to parts of speech like adjectives and nouns.

The audio and image library flashcards help words to sink into the memory.

The SAT Vocab by MindSnacks app contains 25 different lessons which have been compiled by the same people who write and set the SATs each year.

The free version of the app is quite basic. To unlock all of the classic tests, you will need to pay around $20 to get access to the premium words.

I can't stay away from this app. I am taking a retry difficult LAL class. I thought I was doing fine in the class until my teacher told me that my vocabulary wasn't good enough. She recommended that I brush up on some higher level words. This app is GREAT! My writing has improved drastically, and yesterday my teacher called me over after class and told me that she noticed a really strong difference in my vocabulary. I'm so thankful for this app! I haven't bought the full version yet, but I am definitely planning on it. They don't just have you study some flash cards, you play games and figure out the meanings of the words yourself! And the games are SOOO much fun. They have a cool level up system to motivate you. This app really helped me upgrade my vocabulary from a 13 year old level to a 15 year old level. Thank you developers, and I just can't wait to buy the full version. I'm HIGHLY recommend this app! UPDATE: I just purchased the full version, and I am so glad that I did. I LOVE IT!

Although I'm not sure if this app is directly related, but I received 100% on the vocab portion of my SAT. Either way, this app is extremely helpful! It helps you remember words in a fun way so that it doesn't even feel like you're studying! I get a lot more out of it because I have a higher inclination to play this than I would if I were merely studying flash cards. It is also extremely well put together design-wise and never crashes. It is well worth the money, I can't stress enough! The only complaint I have is that after a while the cute drawings for the vocab words disappear and are replaced by stock images that make it slightly harder to connect to each word. I prefer the drawings but it's not a major problem.
