Stack the States® Description

Download the Stack the States iOS app and give your kids an education experience they will never get tired of. They will learn about the 50 states in the US with the help of this fun and colorful puzzle game.

Besides, your kids can learn about shapes, flags, capitals, and geographical locations of the 50 states and build a stack with simple touch, drag, and drop controls. Complete a level and earn a new state. Win all 50 and place them in your very own map. Move up the levels and unlock mini games such as Pile Up, Map It, Capital Drop, and Puzzler.

Learn about shapes, abbreviations, flags, nicknames, locations, and more for each state. Answer hundreds of questions and see the answers in fun flash cards. Set your avatar as one of the animated states.

Stack the States is a paid app. After playing it a few times, the game gets very predictable. It needs more levels and questions.

There are absolutely no advertisements or pop-ups in this app. I play it on i-phone and iPad. There are several games in Stack The States, but you cannot play them all immediately. You have to win enough states to advance to a new game, so success relies on some prior knowledge. This is not going to teach kids to identify the states if they are clueless to begin with, but it will reinforce what they know, and add to their sense of confidence or self-efficacy. Playing the Stacking game is educational because you have to identify the state given 4 choices, but it's also funny. I love watching the states' facial expressions — the look in their eyes — as the stack wobbles or falls. My only quibble is that the state flags are too small to read clearly. I wish they would expand quite a bit larger when I tap it. There is another game where you have to place the states on a map as fast as possible, but with 3 strikes you're out. Good fun. Works better on iPad than iPhone, due to size. The other games in the app are okay, too, but stacking and mapping are my favorites.

This app is awesome. I am 10 I've been playing this app for what 5 years now .This app is a FUN educational game that I love . Although when I was 5 I could not read the question very well so can you add a feature where you can tap the question and it will read the question? That would be very helpful for little kids but I really like it now . I read one review on this where some person did not like that there states fell down and they had to start over again . I thought that's what makes it fun also my line I have to reach to get a state is so high you can't see it when the question pops up because its behind the question that's really hard so I just want you to buy this app now it's amazing.
