FML Official Review

This is the official application for, the world-famous website that has been making you giggle and feel happy about your own life since 2009. The concept is simple: every day, our team selects the embarrassing events and awkward moments that have been sent in to us by real people, things which happened to them over the course of their day, and then we serve these stories up to you on a silver platter in the shape of FMLs, wherever you may be.
You can submit your own FML, create an account, take part in the discussions in the comment sections, have private conversations via our messaging service, check out the illustrated FMLs... And all this absolutely free of charge.

Absolutely awful! It's always had the annoying ads but before the remodel they only popped up when you first opened the app and where usually restricted to the top of the screen. Now I can't even use this app without being constantly redirected to the App Store and they've saturated the display with ads at the expense of the users. They've basically tripled the amount of ads by placing them between every couple of post and everywhere else really. The fmls use to be worth waddling through this apps faults but now I'm more irked than amused whenever I open it and it seems with every "update" it just gets worse. I've uninstalled this app and strongly recommend other do too!

As many others have said before me, when you start the app, an ad that fills up the whole screen pops up. The button to close the ads sometimes don't even line up with the actual area to press. As for the bugs, the new overhauled look has its own sets of problems. The comments cut off after a number of lines, and sometimes FMLs that you upvoted/downvoted aren't saved. Worse off, is that the app freeze and exit out every few minutes. The app should be heavily revised before being put back into the App Store. Another option is to bring back the older versions before the "new look" overhaul, which adequately worked with minimal ads.

    A disappointed long time fan
This app used to be sweet and simple. There were no bells and whistles. You could just complain about your day and people would vote on whether or not it’s your fault. Now it’s crammed full of stupid pointless adds and features nobody asked for. They tried to turn a simple app into the next Facebook. It’s basically un-usable. And NOW, whenever they get poor feedback, they delete and reset their reviews. Sad to see this once amazing app fail so hard.
