Videos will often times not play properly. An add will play for 30 seconds, and audio sometimes starts but no video. Have to reload, end up having to watch another 30 second add, and I usually lose interest in co tonguing by then. Also, the comments sections of almost every article never loads. I get just a black screen usually 9 out of 10 Times trying. To look at comments on ANYTHING. It’s been like this for months, so it seems like the developers of the app, and IGN in general, doesn’t care about the app or wether it works properly or not. They get add revenue from it still since those seem to work great, so no need to fix any other issues evidently. All of these issues are on my iPhone 7 Plus so it shouldn’t be a compatibility issue.

The previous version worked more smoothly. This version, while the videos work, scrolling has been set to the wayside. That's to say it is quite "clunky" and "fidgety". After resetting the app multiple times and uninstalling and reinstalling (both via iPhone AppStore and MacBook AppStore) the app is still clunky. Since scrolling is primary form of use for this app, that makes this version... Not good! UPDATE: Scrolling through an article with Bladerunner ads is impossible to do without the ad trailer going to full screen. Makes using this app difficult.

I installed this app under the impression that I would be able to more easily navigate the IGN Game Guides that I use on the website. Come to find out that it’s nothing more than a NEWS platform that centers around games, comics and movies. If you do a search for a game you get Wiki’s Walkthrough and a number of random videos on Youtube on the dame you are looking up. Seriously, if you are looking for something to help with your game(s) this is NOT the app to go with. You are better off sticking with the website for your Gaming informational needs.
