Inkist Review

Inkist lets you paint on your iPad with highly customizable brushes and tools you expect from advanced painting software. Inkist eschews the trend of hiding interface elements from you, and presents you with everything you need up front. This minimizes the number of taps needed to switch between tools and provides you with a faster, more streamlined drawing experience.

I just paid almost $7.00 for Layers only to find it constantly crashed and didn't save. There were no instructions or help, I had to fumble around to figure it out. I returned it and downloaded Inkist instead, partly because it is (currently) free so figured I couldn't go wrong. I didn't! I was amazed after my previous ecxperience. It is beyond anything I expected. Professional, intuitive, smooth, no lags no crashes, no problems at all. Everything does what it's supposed to do. Very informative help section with video, Tools and capabilities that I associate with high end art, graphic programs. Three layers may not be enough for some folk, but for me, with this kind of app, (as opposed to Photoshop) that is plenty. Would have been worth paying for. I highly recommend grabbing it while it is still free!
