Though I haven't downloaded this specific magazine I think I do understand why it, like many of the magazines have such bad reviews. From what I have been reading in the reviews it seems that most of the bad reviews are for the newsstand app itself. And this I would have to 100 and 10 % agree with. Yes the magazines in the newsstand are deletable but the newsstand app itself in its entirety is unfortunately not. Just like the clock and some other basic apps when you hold them down and the option is presented to delete, it is one of the apps that you are not given the option too. I myself strongly dislike this and get where people are coming from for saying this. It is just that it's also unfortunate that you can't comment on the newsstand app itself , so like I previously stated, the comments and ratings of strong disdain are being taken out on the magazines and newspapers themselves. Thus the low ratings and high complaints. So , on some peoples empty and space taking , while others filled at least with one , the newsstand app on our screens is here to stay. Or until Apple decides to sort this out for us.

I'm tired of all the negative ratings people are giving the magazines because the apps are free & the magazines aren't. Are you kidding me? Would you rather PAY for the app AND for the magazines? The app is free so you can browse to see if it's something you might like & you have the option to buy by the issue or to buy a subscription if it's something you will read a lot. It's the same thing as going to an actual news stand...would you expect to walk away with the magazine & not pay? Nobody is pulling a fast one, it states right in the app description what the rates are, apparently people don't read before downloading. I do wish there were a better selection in the app store like Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, People, etc...hopefully in time more titles will pop up. [Maybe they will if people stop leaving bad reviews that are absolute rubbish.]

If people weren't so lazy and actually read the app before downloading, you would read that a year subscription is 35.99. Do you expect to just get a free magazine when you walk into a store? Why would you expect it here just because it's electronic?? Wow!!! Stop being so dang lazy and try reading about the app first before you download just because you see the word free!!! Oh, and people write reviews as well so try reading those before you download as well, assuming you know how to read for peets sake!!!! Shesh. Great app by the way love that I don't have to wait around anymore for the magazine to come through the mail.
