Movie Maker - Video Editor review
Movie Maker - Video Editor claims to be an easy way to edit your video memories and share them with your friends. And the description says you can turn your video clips into beautiful movies, completing them with your choice of music soundtrack. Let’s check if it’s true.
KK Movie Maker is a free Android video editor, which is supposed to trim and edit videos, create slideshows out of a set of pictures, choose background music, add effects, divide a video into a few separate ones, and more. Besides, it offers you an ability to generate your video just by choosing pictures and audio files.
There is also a social media compatibility so that you could you can share the results with your friends, upload your videos directly to Facebook or YouTube and get feedback. Or save them to your Android device and enjoy at any time.
So, here are the key features Movie Maker - Video Editor is supposed to provide:
- Trim and edit video clips easily;
- Multiple pictures as slideshow movies;
- Background music for your movie;
- Pick photo, video, and music files to generate your own video;
- Split video file into several separate clips;
- Export HD video file format;
- Video effects;
- Directly upload to Youtube;
- Directly upload to Facebook.
The exported files are stored in \sdcard\Moives.
Movie Maker has a minimalistic black interface, with three icons on top of the screen and “Create new project window.” The interface looks simple and intuitive, except the fact that none of these icons lead to something.
The “Key icon” is some kind of app-purchase which is never explained, and the “Film icon” which is supposed to let you create a new project, just suggest you typing in the name of the project and then kick you out to the main screen.
All the functions Movie Maker - Video Editor offers haven’t worked during my experience, so this app is pretty much useless. It’s just a dark screen with icons that don’t function properly and an unexplained in-app purchase option.
Cross-platform use 3/5
Movie Maker - Video Maker is compatible only with Android 4.0 or later. There is no iOS version.
Movie Maker - Video Editor is a free app, which means it’s filled with ads. They constantly pop up taking the entire screen.
There is one unexplained in-app purchase, which probably must turn the ads off.
It’s kind of impossible to make a proper review when none of the app’s functions work. So, my verdict will be cold for Movie Maker - Video Editor.
I don’t recommend this app as it’s just an ad-filled and useless.Collapse
Don’t waste your time on this app. Better find the one, which can really enhance your photos and videos.
Pros : Simple, minimalistic design;
Cons : Looks ugly;
Filled with ads;
None of the functions work.
