Google Play Music is a music streaming application and one of the biggest online music stores on the web. Google Play Music app allows you to listen to the free online radio, and download tracks on demand if you own a subscription. Its database includes over 35 million compositions, and the library becomes bigger every day. It’s also a profound source of podcasts and automatic recommendations based on your everyday choices.
Design – 5/5
Google Play Music main color is orange, so all menu navigation bars and tabs are orange. However, Google Play Music latest version also uses cover arts of albums and singles to diversify interface. It fits images to the full screen and makes the app look impressive. The UI is based on standard Android guidelines, so you can easily switch between features using the navigation panel hidden on the left. To browse the music library, you have to swipe left or right to choose albums, artists, genres, stations, etc. For this Google Play Music review, we used Android and iOS versions. They look almost the same, but the iOS version is neater.
Usability – 5/5
With Google Play Music, you can access all the latest music releases and podcasts on any of your mobile and desktop devices. This music store is one of the biggest on the market and stands in one line with Apple Music, providing nearly the same lineup of artists. You’re not likely to find any differences.
