The phone client is pretty nice. Unfortunately, the watch version is completely useless, and has been useless for 8 months. I think they released it just to say they have one. Otherwise, I don't see the point. They definitely do not actually work on the watch version. The map, the rare times you can see it, is static and never updates. You will still need to hold your phone to use Glympse. So, decent app if you don't care about watch functionality.

This is a great location sharing app. The function I like best is it allows you to share with any other smartphone or web users because the receiver views location in a web browser if they don't have the iphone. Also, the other person doesn't have to be a user of Glympse to view your location. Great that works with ios4 backgrounding! I can't believe how long this app is been around and been a great service.

I am obsessed with this app. It holds me accountable. I will say “yes. I’m on my way. Walking out the door....” 30 minutes later—> I ACTUALLY walk out the door. But with Glympse, I share my location and destination with someone and tell them I am on my way and I actually go because they can see if I haven’t. It also helps that it’s MY idea. No one forcing me into accountability. It’s good stuff
