Featured in Gizmodo's "The Best Note Taking Apps":

"AudioNote has one trick, and it's a doozy. Aside from functioning as a basic note-taking app, AudioNote can make sound recordings at the same time, and keep them synchronized, note by note, with the text. You can, in effect, relive a lecture or a meeting through sound and notes."

THIS is the way notepads should be! I'm primarily a PC guy because of my job - the only thing I use this iPad for is reading, simple writing and thinking so I needed something just like this! Bads: For the Lite version, it doesn't allow you to email or wifi notes (although all u have to do is screenshot it and email it since that's all you need to do unless you're collaborating, but who does that on a note??), changing between functions (text, graphics, highlighter etc) is a little slow to respond, also when you're typing you can't scroll down past the keyboard, so effectively you're stuck with the area that's initially viewable on your screen (probably the suckiest part about this app). Goods: everything else - easy to use/intuitive functions, easy to insert graphics, easy format changes, voice recording a bonus although the lite only allows 10min, palmrest...I will be using this extensively and will upgrade when I outgrow the functions on the lite version. Bravo whoever created this! F'n awesome

Amazing. So necessary. 100% try the lite version, and then you will have little resistance to buying the full version. These guys know what's up. I would buy other apps from these developers. A+\- wish I knew about it sooner. Perfect for class, meetings, and logging video with real time text time signature notes. Really wish developers also made this into an osx app, as soon as possible so I can screen cap the playback on one of my monitors. Just try out the damned app, works great for iPhone and iPad alike.

I'm a medical student that relies heavily on powerpoint slides and recordings. I bought the full version for my MacBook which I used to record the first few lectures. I was pleased with the app until I tried to review the same notes using audionote for iPad. All my drawings and notes were no longer aligned making them impossible to read. Since the app only allows you to save it as an audionote it's very disappointing when audionote can not be used to review that same file!
