I really enjoy this app. I tried a similar app on Android on another phone and the watercolor was just not even close. Watercolor on this app looks like real watercolor, even with how it dries. I too would like to see locking of layers and changing layer opacity, and also a bigger brush or maybe a fill. My only real area where it needs improvement are that sometimes pinching out or zooming in doesn’t register unless I specifically use thumbs (maybe that’s by design?). Otherwise, and regardless,I absolutely love it and even though I’m not an artist, I find this a great app to learn with. I do better on this than I did painting in high school with real materials!

I really liked this app when I first got it. It wasn't like any of the others I had and it was intuitively designed. It wasn't my favorite. With Procreate and Art Rage, it simply has a too much stiff competition. However it was worthy of the space it took up in my iPad. Now the app does little more than frustrate me. The reconfiguration is not well considered and it seems like the things I liked about the app are no longer available. The art itself is flatter, less concise. I'm deleting it today after trying again to adapt to these changes. It's not a serious art app. It's like a coring book which may be fine for someone goofing around, but I need a real tool.

I’ve been using this app since the very first version, simple, intuitive, nice interface and everything, my go to drawing app, which I do a lot as a visual designer and illustrator. The the latest version has two major problems: 1. Too many ads - almost every day, multiple times, it shows me prompts to try their new tools, in app purchases, share the app on social media, etc. it does that so much that it disrupts the work. 2. Crashes very often, almost once every three or four. For these two reasons, I started using other apps.
