Travelers often use various apps to enlighten their voyages and make the trip easier. But are those apps always as useful as we tend to think?
Allegiant is an Allegiant Travel & Allegiant Airlines official app. Let’s check out its main pros and cons to find out, whether it’s worth using. Read the review to discover more facts about it.
Using Allegiant, you will get the flight status notifications. The app will easily save your money and time and let you zip through the airport. You won’t even have to print any pieces of paper.
Here’s how everything works. First, you should book a vacation at the official site. Then, install this app to make the most of your voyage.
With this app, you will be able to view and access the upcoming trips. If you are logged into your Allegiant account, you should know that the app can automatically download the trips onto your device.
All of that sounds perfect, but most of the functions don’t work, and users often report about tons of problems. It seems like the developers don’t care about that.
Allegiant has a poor design. The user interface is not intuitive enough to call the app an easy-to-use one.
The app combines blue and white colors, plus the orange icons. In the bottom of the main screen, you’ll see three buttons:
- Flight Status;
- My Account.
In the center there are 4 icons: Add New Trip, My Trips, Check-in, and Book Flights.
The app is useful if you need to follow your trip on a card by card basis. You’ll see every phase in the voyage as a card in a timeline of the entire trip. Allegiant accepts American Express, Diners Club, and JCB cards.
To manage your voyage, tap on the cards and simply follow the instructions. You will be able to:
- receive the departure and arrival information;
- check in for the flight;
- view the boarding pass.
Allegiant has a good potential. However, it’s hard and inconvenient to use such an app. The flight statuses are often wrong, and the server errors are too irritating. Sometimes it’s even impossible to sign in and start using the app.
Cross-platform use 3,5/5
You can download and install Allegiant on your Android smartphone or tablet. Your Android version should be 4.4 or higher.
One of the most appealing facts about this app is that it’s free of any charges. But you can buy some flight-related options like seats, bags, and much more within Allegiant.
Allegiant is an app for travelers.With it, you can check out and access your trips. The app is good when it works, but that doesn’t happen often. You shouldn’t count on Allegiant, so it’s safer to print your boarding passes. There are more drawbacks than benefits.
All in all, the idea of this travel app is awesome, but in real life, it looks disappointing.Collapse
Though it’s said the app has some useful features, it is mostly useless. And nobody needs a device with full of gimmicky apps.
