Compass Review

Compass is the most precise and performance optimized compass app available. It shows all cardinal points from the smallest to the biggest. This compass supports magnetic north and true north calculated using network or GPS location coordinates, which can be copied, shared and viewed in a map.

This compass shows the magnetic field strength to check if there are interferences. The compass sensor precision is adjustable to save energy. Furthermore, this compass is optimized for all display sizes and resolutions.

PERMISSIONS

Internet access:
Needed by the compass to download ads.

GPS and network location:
Needed by the compass to calculate true north.

Prevent phone from sleeping:
Needed by the compass to keep the display on while using the compass.

IMPORTANT

The compass accuracy depends completely on the sensors in your device! If this compass points to the wrong direction, you need to calibrate your sensors. Keep your device away from magnetic fields, because they interfere with the compass sensor. When using this compass, hold your device flat to the ground with the display facing the sky like you would hold a mechanical compass.

I am so glad, that a compass was replaced by ordinary mobile application. This compass is more precisely then mechanical, because I use it for determination of location data of coordinates, but not magnetic field. Certainly, if a smartphone will run down, then an appendix will not help (but in the conditions of city is an execellent thing). I thank the scientiests for this tehnology a lot.
