Google App Adds Shortcuts For Weather

Are you one of those people who don’t leave the house without checking the weather forecast? Then this new addition from Google is just what you need.
As you may know, Google has presented a new weather screen at the beginning of this year, but now we get a useful shortcut that makes it even easier to check the weather from your smartphone.
Too cute to be shelved
You can place this cute weather shortcut from Google on your home screen for easy access. All you have to do is open the Google app and search “weather.”
Once you do this, you should click on the “access weather from your home screen” option that will appear. Afterward, you should click “Add” and a weather shortcut will appear on your home screen.
When you tap it, you will see a nice-looking weather screen where you can view the forecast for up to 10 days.
You can change the temperature measurements from to Fahrenheit to Celcius if you find it more convenient, and view the weather in other locations by typing the name in the search box.
When compared to installing a separate weather app, this option from Google is certainly a lot easier.
The new shortcut has been in testing for several days, and now more users are able to make use of it. What are your thoughts on the shortcut? Are you going to place it on the home screen of your device?
