Google Maps Has Spoken Traffic Alerts Now

Google Maps Has Spoken Traffic Alerts Now on Freepps Top Blog
It’s a great update for Google Maps that has always been a great service but has always lacked navigating features. Now a serious gap is filled. The update that google Maps for iOS received lately brings a new dimension into voice navigation feature.

Using Google Maps on iPhone or iPad in the car now makes more sense. The service is monitoring street traffic and alerts users about accidents and traffic jams on the way. According to the received data, it recalculates routes to minimize the driving time.

This function is activated automatically when voice turn-by-turn directions are on. If you want to check the traffic conditions before you set off you can just see them on the map and plan your route according to actual conditions. This feature is called Traffic Descriptions.

It’s just one of several great features Google Maps received in the latest update. The updated sidebar allows adding businesses onto the map easily. And of course, there had been some bugs we didn’t even notice until they’re fixed.

This year Google has brought a lot of great updates to its Maps service. In fact today one can use Google Maps as a fully functional navigating solution, without turning to third-party software.
