The leader of our top 20 is keeping its place: Garena Free Fire battle royale has won Android gamers’ hearts with its outstanding gameplay and smooth graphics. Other games that pretty much keep their top positions are Subway Surfers, an amazing arcade dedicated to hoverboard surfing and breaking all the rules; another famous battle royal shooter PUBG MOBILE; and Indian board game Ludo King, turned into a classy mobile app by Gametion Technologies developer team.
A brilliant newcomer to the top five is The Elder Scrolls: Blased from the creators of Skyrim. While this dungeon crawler game is still in early access version, it has gained thousands of fans by offering the immersion into the amazingly detailed fantasy world. Let’s keep an eye on it as it’ll probably move even higher in our May top.
Another new game in our top is Bird Papa that sits on the position 10. This simple yet charming game is one more variation of a bubble shooter that is a fun family play working just as well without an Internet connection. It’s been outgalloped by the games of similar genre: Block Puzzle Jewel and Farm Heroes Saga, the latter being the only King game left in the top this month compared to three of them in March. In the middle of the top ten, there’s a minimalistic sports sim Dunk Shot developed by Ketchapp. This awesome indie team has two games in our top this time: a newcomer on position 16, Knife Hit will make you rediscover knife-throwing and make it your new hobby.
A funny game to rest your mind to, Hill Climbing Racing 2 is stuck at the end of the top ten, while old-timers Vegas Crime Simulator 2 shooter and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang battle royale are slowly moving downwards. Presumably, many Android users have switched to a brand new real-time shooter Special Forces Group 2 that is also here in our top on the position 14.
Two main downfalls of April 2019 are Sonic Dash that has lost nine positions and Dream League Soccer 2019 losing eight, respectively. Football simulator fans have been complaining about the new part of Dream League Soccer being far less entertaining than the previous one. More intellectual sports are coming up instead: both Checkers and 8 Ball Pool have gone four positions up this month. As for Sonic Dash, perhaps it requires an upgrade to keep the audience interested.
On position 19 is Minecraft, an imperishable gaming classic that finally made it to Android top, and Truck Games For Kids that will probably stay in this top as long as toddlers from all over the world need to be entertained.
