It is difficult to retain loyalty towards apps as we keep installing new ones, but there are some exceptions. The top five apps on our list are so addictive that their users will have a hard time putting them down. While YouTube and WhatsApp Messenger have successfully kept their top positions, YouTube Go has made a rapping debut at the third place. It has kicked out Lark player from the top five gang and pushed Facebook Lite to the fourth position.
YouTube Go has been developed with the “offline first” philosophy, so users with low or no internet connectivity can enjoy the videos too. The app is lighter and data-friendly as you can choose the low resolution for streaming videos. It also allows saving videos for offline viewing. Undoubtedly, YouTube and YouTube Go are thriving ecosystems beneficial for the brands, users, and content creators. So, now we can literally say people love these pimple-popping, oddly satisfying, beauty-vlogging and unboxing videos more than other social media stuff.
By the way, there is no sign of “photo morphing” FaceApp which took the Internet world by storm on the list this month. We think it’s nobody’s fault, but the app’s boom might be over. Apart from that, there are no major changes in our top ten list. Messenger, Lark Player and Messenger Lite’s positions are rearranged, and Google Photos and SHAREit clung to their posts. Lark player was ousted from the top five but still managed to remain on the seventh position. It remains one of the top music players with high-quality sounds and smooth videos. We hope to see this lightweight and absolutely free app in the top ten list next month too.
Like YouTube, BlockSite won’t let other apps snatch its eleventh position, it can be in the top ten list in the future. Even Facebook, Telegram, and Google Play services remained on their spots too. It's time to wave goodbye to Super VPN from the charts as Xender takes the fifteenth place. Personal stickers for WhatsApp also moves up one position.
Instagram is completely out from the list, and we welcome imo and Sticker Maker on the seventeenth and nineteenth places respectively. Swiggy still remains on its post, but Play Lite for YouTube was jostled to the twentieth spot. Let's see if it would be on our list next month: YouTube Go has already grabbed a place in the top five.
That’s all for these crème de la crème apps, so don’t forget to check them out while Indian summer is still here.
