Google Play Top Charts in February 2020: Best Games on Freepps Top Blog

If January is the month of change, February is the month of stark change — and bold new beginnings. At least that’s what shows in our February’s Best Google Play Games chart. Revolutionarily ground-breaking dynamics, lots of powerful newbies, and a brand new leader after almost a year of Garena Free Fire dominance… The year has 2020 started on a refreshing note, there’s no doubt about that. Now, let’s get to the bottom of analyzing what February brings in terms of mobile gaming.

Let’s start with the brand new leader, for it proudly represents the most noticeable change in this month’s Top Android Games chart. Brawl Stars is an objective-based free-to-play multiplayer shooter, an addictive battle royale experience, a MOBA-lite and some more, all combined in one fine mobile game.

Unlike the huge-this-year Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Brawl Stars is a perfectly seamless smartphone experience. No wonder the game has grown on you in such an impressive way. It brings tons of frantic fun and feels just right on a smartphone. The winner takes it all — and has it all, too. It’s all about the Brawl Stars game in the context of this month’s chart.

Now, let’s elaborate on the newbies of our February chart. There’s a truly unprecedented number of them in February. Plague Inc., Standoff 2, Defense Zone 3 Ultra HD, Lineage 2M, World of Tanks Blitz, Minecraft Earth, Solitaire Story - Tri Peaks, and Clash Royale are the absolute newcomers.

Your interest in Plague Inc. is understandable. The quality of this one-of-a-kind fusion of high strategy and incredibly realistic simulation is surprisingly refined. World of Tanks Blitz is nothing short of excellent either. Available on Android and iOS devices, the game lets you enjoy World of Tanks on the go.

As for such titles as Legends of Runeterra, Roblox, Minecraft, Call of Duty®: Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game — they’ve already been noticed in our previous charts. Roblox and Call of Duty®: Mobile seem to be your favorite titles in this category of returning games.

In a nutshell, action, battle royale, and strategy are the three keywords that define the most popular genre niches of this month’s chart. With regard to the titles that were present in our January’s Best Google Play Games chart, they’ve mostly lost their positions. The only exception is PUBG MOBILE (and the champion, of course).

Oh and have you noticed that all the bubble shooters and puzzle games are completely gone? No more stably popular Birdpapa™ - Bubble Crush, Block Puzzle Jewel, or Dragondodo - Jewel Blast… Actually, that’s one of the most unpredictable changes within our February chart.

Looks like what they say about February is true: ‘January is for dreamers, while February is for doers’. Instead of relaxing and relieving stress while popping bubbles, you’re now very much into thinking ahead and taking lots of action when it comes to playing games on your mobile.

Now, how’s that for a month of stark change? February has brought lots of surprises, for sure. Anticipating the next month’s Top Android Games chart has become even more exciting. Aren’t you all curious? We’re definitely are! Any predictions? Share away in the comments below, and see ya in spring!
