We’ll start with the leading position. Now, what do we see here? Garena Free Fire has won back its long-term champion status, marking itself the best mobile battle royale game of the month. Oh well, the winner takes it all. Again. No wonder. The Fortnite-inspired ‘battle royale phenomenon’ is still here with us (and obviously isn’t going anywhere yet).
The second position of the Best Google Play Games chart of March is occupied by Brawl Stars. This intense multiplayer shooter and battle royale somehow managed to break through to the first place in February. In March, however, most of the mobile game enthusiasts decided to switch back to the good old Garena Free Fire. As a result, Brawl Stars has jumped one position down.
PUBG MOBILE is still sitting on its comfy third place — nothing revolutionary here at all. You love a good battle royale experience, don’t you? Especially now that occasional escapes from reality are highly beneficial. As for Minecraft, it has built its way to the fourth place, climbing two positions up compared to the last month.
Roblox proudly (and stably) occupies its fifth position. Nothing has changed here since February. Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game has jumped nine positions up, hailing itself as the biggest breakthrough of March. As for the biggest setback of this month, Plague Inc. is obviously the champion among the losers. The game has lost nine positions in this month’s chart, false-mirroring Teamfight Tactics’s success.
Compared to our February’s Best Android Games chart, March comes with even more newbies. They are Mini Metro, GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, Tokaido™, Kingdom Rush Origins, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Dragon Raja, Card Crusade, and Worms Zone .io - Voracious Snake.
This impressive lineup of newcomers brings forth a wide variety of genres, from top-notch action-adventure games and board games to some great RPGs and fantastic strategy titles. Who knows, maybe one of these gems will dare to become the biggest breakthrough of our next month’s Best Android Games chart. Let’s wait and see how things will turn out for these fine titles in April.
Now, a few words should be said about some of the worthiest mobile games from our February’s chart that have dropped out this month. They are Call of Duty®: Mobile, World of Tanks Blitz, Minecraft Earth, and Hill Climbing Racing 2. Some of them have been in our Best Google Play chart for months, and now they’re gone. This doesn’t mean, however, that they won’t come back in the nearest future. That being said, only time will show who’s going to be the king of the next month’s chart. Aren’t ya all curious?
