Instagram Exploring Flatter Design, New Icons

Instagram Exploring Flatter Design, New Icons on Freepps Top Blog

Instagram as you know it could look very different soon.

This may be the end of Instagram as we know it. Well, its looks at least.

As of today, some of the users who updated the app are experiencing the new minimalistic, monochrome design. The icons look different too, as they're now flat, thin and colorless.

Instagram is known for random feature testing that rolls out to a limited portion of the users globally.

This may be the end of Instagram as we know it.

The changes aren't drastic, and mostly, it's the icons -  the Camera icon now actually resembles a camera; your profile icon is gone and replaced by a generic "person" icon, and the Activity is now just a heart (beating is an activity, right?)

Of course, the changes are not official yet, as this update seems to be a probe to test the user's response.
