WhatsApp Introduces Voice Mail
Incredibly popular WhatsApp service continues to grow and improve with the number of features making its way into the application. When it comes to such enhancement of functionality, developers decided to introduce the voice mail into the beta version of WhatsApp.
How can you use the new feature?
The first news about the potential voicemail feature appeared several months ago, but now the beta version users are finally able to try it out. The way this feature works is extremely simple. If you call a person on WhatsApp, and they decline your call or don’t answer, you will be able to see a screen that allows you to either send a voice message or call back quickly. While this functionality is not something groundbreaking, it definitely makes the application more convenient.
In addition to the voicemail feature, WhatsApp also added an option of creating monospace text. If you ever want to use this text formatting option, all you should do to enable it is type three (‘) symbols before the text. This feature is now something you can use along with bold, strikethrough, and italic, which were introduced to the app earlier.
