I download apps primarily for the children in my life – grandchildren and neighbors – and was drawn to the appealing graphics in this one. But when I tried it out to assess who might enjoy playing it, I was surprised to discover that that was ME! I couldn't get enough of it. I found it to be compelling, challenging, fun, and surprisingly gratifying. I rarely play with puzzle apps because their timers take all the fun out of the activity for me. I think the allure of puzzles – beyond the thrill of seeing one's final accomplishment – is the meditative focus it requires, the soothing calm of giving one thing your undivided attention. And this app - clearly aimed at children but clever enough to entertain adults - allowed me the rewards of solving a puzzle without time restraints and with the fun of seeing the characters I've untangled do something silly and unexpected as a reward. The images you must unscramble are moving, so you have to correctly assess (for example) where a character's head or arm will be when they bounce to the opposite side of the screen or when a wave launches them from the bottom of the screen to the top. There are a few very easy ones, but most of them I think would employ the deductive reasoning of at least a 6-7 year old. To be honest, however, I did a whole lot of random guessing until I could figure out what was going on. Once I did, then I reasoned out the rest. I highly recommend this app to anyone - especially Grandmas!

The characters are adorable, yet sometimes a bit dark in humor (which I love). I like how each level is different but not increasingly more difficult, i.e. you can play the whole game without impossible levels. Truly a fav. I often play games with sound off (to not wake people, etc) but you have to play with the music on. Definitely a different game concept, yay. Negative? I'm ready for more levels!

Seemed like a great game -- but then on some levels the Steelseries controller didn't work (some levels it did) -- and then the AppleTV remote made the game go haywire. Kinda hard to solve a puzzle when you select one piece and another piece across the board moves. So frustrating we wanted to throw something at the TV screen. Too bad, seemed like a fun game at first.
