Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

Have you ever played the Microsoft FreeCell version that came pre-installed? If you have, you know what this app is about. However, it will be informative to read this review to find out what’s new. If you haven’t, well... no better time than now to start.

The hints and comparison status will keep you interested for a long time. This game is one of the best FreeCell versions. Why? Read the full review to find out.

At first sight, it’s the classic FreeCell — green felt and four suits in a deck. But FreeCell has a fresh and improved appearance. New graphics in such an old game look surprising, and the animations are appealing in a new fashion. Now FreeCell provides you a clean and up-to-date gaming experience.

The green background and the white cards give you the needed contrast of colors so that you can look at them for long periods of time. All in all, for being a card game, the graphics are rather qualitative.

Gameplay 4/5

The game has an element of strategy. You’ll play with a basic deck of 52 cards and have 4 free cells in the top left corner at your disposal. Plus, there are 4 foundation piles and 8 playing piles below. To become a winner, you need to shift all the cards from the foundation stacks.

All of that may sound easy. But in fact, you’ll need an effective strategy to move the cards from the Tableau to the Foundation cells by suit and in ascending order.

It’s entertaining to play the game as long as you enjoy having your skills and IQ tested. And if you have those, you'll love FreeCell. This game will cause you to think a lot.

FreeCell saves the game automatically, so you won’t lose all your progress if, for example, someone calls you or your battery goes flat. It’s easy and quick to pick up right where you left off.

With a new Goal Progression feature, you’ll get daily goals to tackle. Completing them allows you to earn experience and get level ups.

Controls 4,5/5

FreeCell Free is a replica of the Microsoft version of FreeCell Solitaire but with tons of additional features. The game features 2 control types, allowing you to either drag or tap cards. You can move the card with a single swipe on your device.

Plus, there is a tutorial which will be handy if you are not familiar with such game. Each day FreeCell Free will give you new awards to collect and challenges to play, so you’ll always be occupied and satisfied.

Replay Value 5/5

Though the game won’t surprise you with its graphics and action, it’s as addictive as nibbling the sunflower seeds. It is practically impossible to stop playing. Even if you win, you are likely to start a new game at once. Playing FreeCell is a wonderful way to occupy yourself during a boring time of the day.

In-app purchases

The app is free to download and play. Moreover, it doesn’t offer any in-app purchases. You’ll get only the pure pleasure and joy for free.

Conclusion

Solitaire, in its many forms, is one of the most beloved games of all times. It’s hard to surprise anyone with such a casual game, but this one is exciting to play. The innovations have made the game even more captivating.

You can take FreeCell with you wherever you go and enjoy this awesome game on the move. FreeCell offers 2 control types, an unlimited undo feature to deal with the mistakes, and thorough statistics tracking.

FreeCell is an excellent game to play if you need a real brain training experience. This game is challenging and checks your skills, strategy, and patience to win.

The actual game of free cell is great, I just think the app needs a few adjustments. For one, each time you go up a level the required “coins” you need to get to the next level should be in increments of twenty-five. After playing for a while in the thousand coins needed range, I began to wonder why I would have sums like 233 or 108. I decided to reset my statistics and find out. It’s because of levels like the Hobbyist (starting on level 11) with a needed sum of 678 that these coins get thrown off. I just get bothered by it and would be very grateful if it was corrected. Also, if it could be more like the regular solitaire game when auto completing (each level goes in on its own and all the kings go in last when there are no queens left) that would be great as well.

The reason for rating this app 2 stars is because unknown & suspicious “apps” start downloading while I’m in the middle of a game. The app doesn’t have a name other than “app” & the only way I was able to stop the download was to reboot. Today a bagel ad popped up & wont allow me to “X” out. I’ve tried numerous times over several hours. Too much suspicious & shady things going on. I’m done.

The game is okay but somehow it will show you have lost a game and you have not. I think the glitch is it may close down the game you are playing when you stop playing and give the option to start a knew one when you open it back up instead of going back to the game you were in originally then it says you have lost a game that you didn't realize you were still playing idk it's stupid!

Our 'original' version of freecell developed a software error where one card would not respond. Can you send me an attached freecell copy which I can download without all the other 'distractions'. Ted
